Let's work out your money
Three quick questions and you'll know exactly what each payment should be.
Type an amount above zero, like 900.
3 payments every week

The total is worked out from your payment days, so it keeps counting on its own.
How it works
Your calculation, step by step
Why don't we just divide the month by 4?
It looks like it should work, but it quietly hands out extra money.
A year has 52 weeks. If every month were exactly four weeks long, that would only be 12 × 4 = 48 weeks, leaving four weeks with no money in them. The real average month is 52 ÷ 12 = 4.33 weeks, so dividing by 4 always gives too much.
Where the saving comes out
Saving is taken off the yearly total first, before the weekly payments are worked out. That way every payment is the same size and the saving happens on its own, rather than needing to be put aside afterwards.
A percentage grows if the amount goes up. A set amount stays the same whatever happens. Change either one on the Home tab.
About the pennies
Every payment is worked out at full precision and only rounded to the nearest penny when it's shown on screen. Over a whole year those roundings can add up to a few pence either way, which is normal and nothing to worry about.
No bank details. No accounts. Just the sums.
